The room was really big and had everything you need - a shower, a hairdryer, and even a bidet. the location was spot on, only 6 miles from the airport, so super easy to get to ✈️. Added bonus: there's a bus stop nearby for easy exploring.

Greatly enjoyed Unawatuna, the hotel was quirky and nice right next to the ocean. The whole room was beautiful and nicewith comfortable beds, private terrace for shade and a kitchen. The location was particularly good, next to the main beach, and the dive shop. Unawatuna was 100 feet from the property...

During my recent transit in Unawatuna, I had the opportunity to stay at Happy Beach Villa Resort. From my experience, I found two outstanding features of the provided database. it accurately portrayed the hotel as a transit-friendly option. As a frequent traveler, it was important for me to have a conveniently located accommodation, and I was pleased to find that the nearest airport was only 7 km away.
In terms of a minor negative, one aspect I noticed in the database was the lack of detailed information about local attractions and activities around the hotel. While this may not be a significant drawback for transit travelers like myself, it could be a small inconvenience for those looking to explore the area further.

I chose this hotel for attending a forum as it is conveniently located in the business district. The facilities provided were satisfactory, including a comfortable room and amenities such as a desk and Wi-Fi, which allowed me to work efficiently during my stay.
The only service that I missed for my work was a dedicated business center or coworking space within the hotel premises. It would have been beneficial to have a quiet and professional environment for meetings and work-related activities.

We had direct access to this sick sandy beach where we could totally go snorkeling and see some awesome marine life. Plus, we could go cycling around the area which was so cool. The bed and breakfast vibes were rad, super cozy and chill. Highly recommend for a fun and adventurous getaway!
The only thing we wished for was a better party scene for us young peeps. It would've been sick to have more nighttime activities and a happening party scene.

The location of the hotel is perfect, as it is right by the sea and very close to the main beach. The rooms are spacious and comfortable with a huge bed, wardrobe, and fridge. The bathrooms are clean and have powerful warm showers. The service is excellent, with the staff being attentive and friendly. The breakfast is delicious and varies every day. The hotel also has a restaurant on-site that offers tasty meals at reasonable prices.
There is a limited number of sun beds available at the hotel.

Happy Beach Villa Resort
As a frequent traveler, I have stayed in many hotels around the world, and during my recent transit in Unawatuna, I had the pleasure of staying at the Happy Beach Villa Resort. One of the standout features of this resort is its close proximity to the nearest airport, which is only 7 km away. This convenience made my arrival and departure hassle-free, allowing me to spend more time enjoying my vacation rather than traveling long distances.
Despite the AC, the air inside the room felt a little heavy and "moist".

We spent two nights at this quaint hotel and were treated like royalty by Shashika and his staff. The private beach, with its sea turtles, was stunning and easily accessible. Our Seaview chalet had all the amenities we needed, including air conditioning, a fridge, and tea and coffee making facilities. The breakfast was delicious and filling, and we enjoyed the prawns and curry for dinner. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the main beach, but we preferred our own little haven at Happy Beach Villa Resort.
100% Recommend this hotel.
